The Sarah Community prides itself in Celebrating Life, Faith, and Friendship not just during the holidays but year round. The spirit is embodied not only throughout her community but also in a special group known as “The Prayer Community”. This prayer group is composed of staff, department heads, and religious figures throughout our community. The prayer committee not only prays for the residents who live in our community but also for the success, life, and prosperity of their fellow coworkers.
“I pray for people here at The Sarah Community, “was Gerald Greenlee’s response when asked why he joined the Prayer Committee.
“I love to watch God move in their lives.” Pat Finch said “The Prayer Committee opens up the mystery of God. People can be open and share what God has done for them in a trusting environment.”
The Sisters of these five founding congregations sought establish a community where respect, compassion and a spirit of welcoming hospitality are key elements in meeting the retirement needs and providing long-term care to their members and the general public.
The Prayer Committee while embodying the founding mission makes the Sarah Community a very nurturing spiritual environment to work in. Embedded deep in our community is the celebration of Life, Faith, and Friendship.
