We have a tradition at The Sarah Community of supporting the Alzheimer’s Association, which is focused on providing resources for people who are affected by the disease. We participate in Longest Day activities in a very special way at The Sarah Community. On June 21 each year, we take turns praying for the people who are affected, the care givers, and researchers. Residents have the opportunity to pray for the 30 minutes of their choice, in whatever manner is familiar to them. Together, we dedicate an entire day of prayer focused on dementia. The St Louis Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is very appreciative of the prayer support they receive each year from The Sarah Community. We encourage anyone reading this to join your prayers with ours on June 21.
